Senior Product Designer (UI/UX)

We’re currently hiring a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) for one of our clients, an early-stage AI company based in New York. This is a high-impact opportunity for a designer to become the first dedicated product designer, owning the end-to-end design experience across an AI-powered platform. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Head of Product, and engineering team to create intuitive and innovative AI interfaces across web, chat, voice, and other communication channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design core product workflows — admin dashboard, web chat widget, payment checkout across three web applications.
• Own full design scope — UX research, ideation, through to polished, shippable UI.
• Innovate on AI interfaces — interaction patterns for agentic software still being defined industry-wide.
• Lead UX improvements — agent configuration, monitoring, analytics, operational tooling.
• Prototype + iterate rapidly — in Figma, collaborating with engineering for high-quality implementation.
• Conduct customer research — interviews and usability sessions to inform design decisions.
• Establish design standards — patterns that scale as product and team grow.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years designing B2B SaaS products Primary/sole designer at startup Multiple product surfaces owned Customer research + usability testing
• Expert-level Figma
• AI tools for prototyping + iteration
• Thrives in ambiguity
• Frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/React) a plus
